| Essential Requirements |
Purpose of the role:
Developing, implemening and managing media liaison & communication strategies.
Key Performance Indicators:
Develop media liaison strategies.
Write the media spokesperson policy.
Advise and train various internal stakeholders on best practice processes to effectively communcate important information to the media
Develop all possible media crisis strategies and manage the process if and when a situation occurs.
Establish and maintain positive perceptions of the organisation with the media.
Determine the right angles for consumer focused press releases, with the aim to obtain publicity.
Stakeholder relationship management.
Write and manage publications.
Write speeches for senior management within the organisation.
Manage the content of the website.
Level of experience required:
Minimum 3 years Communication / Media Relations Experience
Minimum qualifications:
3 year Journalism / Communications Diploma / Degree.
Well established relationships with business, consumer and lifestyle journalists.
Exceptional writing & communication skills.
Consumer industry experience beneficial.
